Life has a way of reminding us that things don’t always end the way we hoped. And yet, Scripture tells a different kind of story. The Bible doesn’t end with disappointment—it ends with renewal. In Revelation, we are given a breathtaking vision: a new heaven and a new earth, where God brings everything together and makes all things new. This is not God abandoning the world, but restoring it completely. The brokenness we feel, the endings we grieve, the longings that go unmet—all of it finds its answer here. God’s ultimate plan is not to scrap creation, but to redeem it. Richard Rohr has said, “Everything will be okay in the end. If it’s not okay, it’s not the end.” So when life feels unfinished or disappointing, we can remember: this is not the end of the story.
