It’s the format your leaders follow to make decisions, establish controls, determine direction and handle problems. Sometimes governance is called “polity.” Polity comes from the word “polis” in the Greek language, which means city. It often referred to municipal government, i.e., the way cities were governed. Churches, as organizations, need a system of polity to function effectively.
