The Worst Tips & Tricks Episode

Welcome Foolish Mortals to the Grim Grinning Dads. In this episode, the dads kick things off with the surprising news surrounding Spirit Airlines reportedly shutting down operations and what that could mean for Disney travelers everywhere. From delayed flights and questionable airline experiences to the chaos of trying to get to Orlando in one piece, the guys swap travel horror stories and debate whether budget airlines are worth the gamble in the first place. From there, the conversation shifts into some of the absolute worst Disney Parks advice the dads have ever seen online—and there is plenty to unpack. From terrible rope drop strategies to overhyped “must-do” experiences, the dads break down the planning tips that can completely derail a Disney vacation. Are some Disney hacks actually making trips more stressful? Why do certain bad tips keep circulating year after year? And how many people are treating Disney World like a military operation instead of a vacation? The dads dive into bad dining recommendations, questionable park strategies, Lightning Lane mistakes, and the internet’s obsession with overplanning every second of a trip. Along the way, they share what they would actually recommend instead, balancing practical advice with the usual Grim Grinning Dads chaos. If you’ve ever read a Disney planning tip online and immediately thought, “there is no way this works,” this episode is for you. ⸻ Follow our ghostly hosts: Grim Grinning Dads TikTok Grim Grinning Dads Instagram The Grim Grinning Dads on Spotify The Grim Grinning Dads on Apple Podcasts Summon us anytime at [email protected] If you’d like help conjuring your next Disney vacation, let us know at the link below: Disney Vacation Request Form ⸻ Theme music for The Grim Grinning Dads Podcast created by @AdamPineless.
