In "The Worsted Doll," dollmaker Jacob and his wife Mother Munster wish for a son, but only have daughters. When Mother Munster knits a special boy doll, Theodor, her wishes accidentally bring him to life. Shipped overseas, Theodor is given to a little girl who makes him the reluctant father of her doll family. Overwhelmed by responsibility and yearning for his creator, Theodor seizes a chance during a trip to Germany to return to Mother Munster.
