The Wrap - Black Maternal Health Week 2024

According to the CDC, Black birthing people are three times more likely to experience complications or death during pregnancy than white people. To call attention to these disparities, and to improve outcomes and patient care, Michigan Medicine celebrated Black Maternal Health Week from April 11-17. To close out the week, The Wrap brought in two ob/gyn experts to discuss disparities that they've experienced in their medical practice and personal lives.
