The Wreck of the Plassey

The Plassey went down in a storm in 1960 and was washed ashore on Inis Oirr, an island in Galway Bay. No lives were lost but I get weepy just thinking about all those consumer goods that were washed out to sea. On June 23rd my wife and I visited the place where the rusted out shell of the Plassey lies. I was inspired to compose this music to commemorate the occasion. This tune will be included on my next album "Songs From The Sea."
