The Wrong Box Chapter 13 - The Tribulations of Morris: Part the Second

In which the hapless Morris Finsbury finds himself beset by a medley of anxieties, ranging from the disappearance of his uncle to the distress of his impecunious brother, all the while grappling with the inexorable demands of creditors and the precarious state of the family business. With scarce means and a heavy heart, he resorts to a desperate stratagem involving a cryptic advertisement, whilst parting with treasured curiosities in a vain effort to raise funds for his precarious endeavours.
