The Wrong Box Chapter 3 - The Lecturer at Large

In which an elderly gentleman, recently escaped from the chaos of a railway accident, embarks on an impromptu journey accompanied by a surly carrier, whose patience is sorely tried by his verbose and pedantic companion. Their evening finds the gentleman earnestly delivering a dry lecture on living costs to a dwindling audience at a country inn, before a disagreement over payment forces him to contemplate his next steps amidst the encroaching complexities of his predicament.
