The YouMeVerse E2: Processes, Practices and Evolution.

from The YouMeVerse Podcast · host Jeffrey and Odette

In this episode we talk about "processes" and "tools" to help facilitate change in ourselves and thus in our life. How yoga and meditation are great tools for this, and how this compares to others physical practices. We talk about the "feeling" of yoga, what this feeling really is and how it's the best tool to heal the body. How do we cultivate new versions of ourselves by simply shifting our current beliefs. Odette talks about how she has selected thoughts she likes and discards those she doesn't and witnessed her experience changing as a result. Jeffrey speaks about how he has created multiple versions of himself, and how his life taught him how to do it with more precise tools, more joy, more fun, more ease. We talk about "creating things ahead of time" as opposed to responding to life and finding ways to be in more consistent states of "joyous flow" and more examples of how meditation works for this. Odette talks about using yoga to "feel" the emotions that arise. How to connect with the body to release those emotions to then quiet the mind. Jeffrey talks about how he "receives" information in meditation, and a brief overview of how this works for himself and how others can do the same. We talk about mindsets, particularly shifting from a victim to a creator mindset. Odette talks about her experience with this, and how she had to made the decision to accept this idea. Jeffrey tells a story about his past experiences that hes never shared before, where others may have been a victim in his situation, and how he had a choice to be a victim, or allow the experience to teach him his true power. From complete despair to complete power.
