The Young Conquerors Series: FINDING ALAN TREADWELL Chapter 14 Waiting Game

Uncle Gerald, along with Aunt Tammy and Alan’s mom, decided he was going to find the kids from the baseball field—even if it meant going door to door.  Alan was glad when his uncle told him he wouldn’t have to go. However, Uncle Gerald had something else in mind for Alan. He asked him to go to Jimmy’s house and invite him to come to practice. Alan reluctantly agreed to go while expecting to be greeted with more of Jimmy’s insults, but this time he learned that maybe Jimmy really didn’t enjoy bullying other people the way it so often appeared.
