Dr. Yvette Smith Mason is the recently retired Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources and Professional Development where she served for ten years at Wayne County Public Schools in Goldsboro, North Carolina. She retired on June 30, 2025 with 32 years of active education experience. Now she serves at Newport News PS in VA as Executive Director of Human Resources.
