The Zit

(Recorded on June 6th, 2023) This week we are discussing episode five of My So-Called Life, The Zit. The annual Three Rivers Mother-Daughter Fashion Show has rolled into town, along with a zit on Angela’s chin. To make matters worse, Angela doesn’t make the Sophomore Girls List (created by Liberty High jocks) and starts thinking she may be ugly. Both Sharon and Rayanne make the list, to varying degrees of enthusiasm. Patty thinks she’s starting to look old and we’re starting to think there may be something in the water in Three Rivers making all the women and girls insecure. George has trouble connecting with the episode, maybe because he was never a teenage girl?
