Today on Art Beat we’re bringing it back! Well, we aren’t bringing it back, they are, we are just airing it again, I mean, we recorded it and we are now airing it but really they brought it back… oh, what’s that? Who? Is Bringing what back? Oh! Well, it’s the Theatre du Mississippi Christmas Radio Show! That’s what! And they are bringing it back with plenty of mystery involving local sleuth Sam Shovel, in Twelve Days of Chaos! A play written by Jane and Jim Jeffries and directed by Michael Opiola. The story centers around hard boiled, and Grinch-ish detective Sam Shovel as she unravels the mystery behind a string of Christmas vandalism in a fictitious Winona of the 1930s. So, gather ‘round the radio like the days of old as a cast of crazy characters lead us through a comedic Christmas caper in Theatre du Mississippi’s presentation of Sam Shovel, Private Eye, Twelve Days of Chaos!
