Alex Poon was a champion ping-ponger back in Louisiana growing up, only to find out California had a lot better ping pong players. An early eBay employee (around number 25!), he eventually went on to start his own mobile app company before the iPhone days, and now bounces back and forth between running a Venture Capital company and playing pickleball in semi-retirement mode. He's definitely not a tiger dad, allllmost shared a horse with Steph Curry, and seemed like he definitely could have been the inspiration for the Season 1 finale of Silicon Valley when he presented his app onstage to a huge audience.
