Their Happiness Is Not Your Responsibility: Letting Go of Attachment In Relationships

from Sven Chanton · host Sven Chanton

Be selfish, because true selfishness will ultimately lead to selflessness. The moment you give up your joy in order to “help” someone, you do both yourself and them a great disservice.Others can only benefit from you when you are aligned, happy, and joyful. If you are following your joy and bliss but they are not, the relationship will naturally come to an end.Instead of giving up your joy to “descend” to their frequency of unhappiness, you must stay in your flow—even if that means losing them.Through your alignment, you may inspire them to discover happiness within themselves and flow alongside you. Everyone has a wise soul and must find their own current of happiness. You can be an example, but you are not responsible for keeping others happy. If you feel that their happiness depends on you, it‘s time to give them the greatest gift by walking away and by doing so, reminding them of their own power to be blissful without anyone.Let me know how you like it!Connect with me: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/svenchanton/Subscribe to the Podcast on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and YouTube and leave a review!
