In the 3rd episode of #TheOutspoken Podcast we're talking covid and careers and are focussing in on the current situation in the beauty industry where any treatments that take place on the facial area are still forbidden.I start with the results of a poll I did in which more than 600 of you took part. I'll be revealing how many of you have had your livelihoods affected by Covid and the shocking amount of you who are struggling to make ends meet.I then focus in on the Beauty Backed initiative, thought up by Caroline Hirons. They have already raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for beauty industry members who are struggling. Millie Kendall, the CEO of The British Beauty Council tells me about the campaign and her frustrations with the current situation.Later I talk to Chloe Rigby and Mel Sunshine, two amazing salon owners/estheticians who share how their business and livelihoods have been affected and I'm also joined by The Telegraph's Beauty Director, Sonia Haria.
