Abuse of and addiction to opioid medications continues to be a growing issue worldwide with opioid abuse often beginning with prescribed products in medical care.  Multimodal pain management uses alternatives to opioids to prevent the initial exposure that may lead to addiction and abuse. This podcast is focused on describing the management of acute and chronic pain conditions with opioid sparing modalities and analgesic optimization.   The information presented during the podcast reflects solely the opinions of the presenter.
