Therapeutic Thursdays: Topical Hemostat Use in the ED

While the utilization of topical hemostatic agents in the emergency department (ED) is dwarfed by its use in OR, ED pharmacists should have a basic understanding of these agents based on the critically ill and surgical patients that can reside in the ED. This podcast will evaluate the available topical hemostatic agents and their place in practice, specifically from the emergency department perspective.
