Therapist Accused of Client Abuse | Miami News

A Florida mental health intern, Michelle Luchau-Rebora, is facing serious felony charges after allegedly engaging in inappropriate relationships with at least two clients at a therapy facility — including sexual relations during sessions and helping one escape by creating alibis. Both clients came forward after the relationships ended, leading to her firing and arrest. She turned herself in on a $5,000 bond, now charged with sexual misconduct by a psychotherapist and an additional charge involving a client who is an unauthorized alien. This case underscores the critical importance of ethical boundaries in therapy and the devastating consequences when trust is broken.
