Therapist Intern Arrested for Client Affair | Miami News

A therapist intern in South Miami-Dade got arrested on felony charges after allegedly having a sexual relationship with a client at a rehab facility. The client, a 42-year-old man, said she helped him sneak out to meet secretly at her home, a hospital, and even her mom’s place. When he told his employer, she was fired — reportedly pressured him to stay silent to protect her career. She turned herself in, posted $5K bail, and the case exposes serious lapses in oversight and ethics in behavioral health care.
