Therapy dogs play a special role in people's lives, providing support and companionship. But we often focus on the benefits the animals provide to humans and not the other way around. Dr. Colleen Dell, a professor in the Department of Sociology at USask and the lead of the PAWSitive Connections Lab, joins the show to explain the work behind her research, which examines the complex relationships between humans and animals, including the well-being of therapy and service dogs.
