With every flashing headline, every bright chyron claiming "breaking news" we expect our worlds are changing. In the current political atmosphere in the US those come fast and furious and leads pundits everywhere to regularly exclaim that we have reached a turning point. Well, we offer a different kind of pundit on Deep State Radio, people who speak their minds and don't march to the beat of everyone else's drummers, people like Ed Luce of the Financial Times, Rosa Brooks of Georgetown University Law Center and Max Bergmann of the Center for American Progress. And while much is happening all around us, it's not clear much will change, which is why Rosa asserts, "There are no turning points." We discuss. Which leads us to some of the biggest and most important stories in the world that are not getting enough attention. Join us.
