There are two ways to experience every situation

There are two ways we can experience every situation that we find ourselves in. And those two ways are based on which teacher we’ve chosen in the mind. Either the mind of the ego, or the mind of the Holy Spirit.Let me start by reading this line from A Course in Miracles: “Every situation in which you find yourself is but a means to meet the purpose set for your relationship.”In other words, if we choose the ego mind then the purpose of our experience is one of perpetuating some form of lack, some form of separation, some form of separate interests between us and another person.On the other hand, when we choose the mind of love or the mind of the Holy Spirit, then the purpose of the experience is instantly transformed from one of separation to one of joining. Now we see the shared interests, the shared purpose that unites both of us. And our experience of the situation is instantly transformed from one of pain to one of joy.Support the show
