He knows how to write a rocker, and we're all always excited to work on his songs. First one into the fray way Ken, who added his powerful, groove heavy drums. Josh joined in as soon as he had some kick drums on which his five string fretless bass could find purchase, hence completing the rhythm section. Chris then found his way into the mix, adding some really magical, subtle guitar and slide parts. JJ also found some space for his rocking organ and tasteful synth, too. Tez, smelling blood in the water, went in for the kill with his fiery guitar to complete the melodic instrumentation. Once all the instruments were recorded, Carl stepped up and delivered the ferocious lead vocal performance. Ken thought it needed some oohs and aahs, though, so Josh came up with the background vocals to finish it off. Now that the whole thing was in the can, we turned it over to the composer, Stephen, to cast his magic spell on it with the mix and production. This is the latest Stephen song from the EC. We all love to rock, so this really scratched an itch for all of us. We hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed creating it. Original lyrics by The Beautiful Dark: The wreath finds victory More freedom To family health Be long more reason Strength of heart The cleanest heal You've got this Mum Be bravest steel More time More air Redefining goodness of care More time More fair There there There for you Be there for me Be that seed of love Unconditionally There for you Be there for me For the seeds we freed
