Once the Bride and Groom have decided to get married, the Groom goes away and prepares a room in is Fathers house for them to live in. A while later the Groom returns for the Bride, but only the Father knows when that is. Jesus is the Groom and He has gone away for a while to prepare a room for us in The Fathers house.
