There is Healing at The Table ❤️  Last Sunday, Pastor Rich taught us out of Isaiah 53 and Matthew 8. As He connected these scriptures, we understood that just as forgiveness of our sins in the atonement, there is also a component of healing made available to us. There is forgiveness because the blood of Jesus was shed to remove the effects of sin, allowing repentant sinners to be reconciled to God. There is healing because His body was broken to remove the effects of the enemy and the results of sin, allowing us to receive healing paid for by the scourging of Jesus' back. Since the instruments used to make atonement for us are tangibly expressed by the elements of communion, we know that what is found in the atonement is also found in the bread and wine.
