There Is More — Acts 18

Preached from Acts 18:24–19:7, this message follows Apollos — an eloquent, well-studied man from Alexandria who taught accurately about Jesus but knew only the baptism of John — and the twelve disciples Paul met in Ephesus. The tension is comfort: the human habit of treating a real past encounter with God as a ceiling instead of a foundation, until we stop being teachable, stop being molded, and stop reaching for the Spirit's empowerment. The call is to come back to the altar with three open hands — there is more to learn, more to become, and more to receive.
