Have you ever heard the saying, “Don’t meet your heroes because they’ll only let you down”? Well, I hate to break it to you... but it’s true. But instead of avoiding your heroes for fear of disappointment, I believe that we should meet our heroes. For the same reason we think it's not good to meet them. So that we do get let down. Because the moment after the disappointment comes inspiration! The thought, “they’re only human too. Just like me. If they can do it, maybe I can do it!”
