Those weekend Golf Guys are here this week with their semi-regular reminder that there is no “right” or “wrong” way to play golf. There are ways to swing the club that are not compatible with your body’s motion. There are ways to move that might be inhibited by your flexibility, or lack thereof. But keep in mind there are myriad ways to be successful at this game. Some have short backswings (like Jon Rahm). Others have long backswings (like Justin Thomas). Jeff Smith, one of Golf Magazines Top 100 Teachers, also describes the transition; that short period of time when the backswing stops and the downswing begins. Get this right for you and your game will improve noticeably. This is one of those programs where a simple listen (OK.
