There is Room

from L.I.V.E. Life Inspired Views for Everyday · host Kris Meyer

Send us Fan MailLast week we anticipated the arrival of our only grandson and his parents, our son and his partner, from Seattle to spend Christmas in Iowa. Along with our Iowan daughter, we started the beginning of the week full of joy, laughter, and full hearts that comes with the fulfillment of being together as a family. However, the week took a turn quite quickly with half of us entertaining the flu, definitely an uninvited Christmas guest! So how do we still have the magical experience we anticipated having? I believe that happens by concentrating on the love that still abounds. Illness cannot take that away. There is always room for love to enter into our time together, even if it means being masked and sitting farther from each other than we would have any other time. If we depended upon external things to bring us a meaningful time, then we will always be setting ourselves up for disappointment. In todays podcast, find those examples where the kindness and love of family and strangers bring not only meaning, but a lifetime of survival. Thanks for listening!
