There Need to Be Peaceful Demonstrations at the Homes of Senators and Representatives

There need to be consequences when our elected officials say they’re reluctant to defund ICE. That’s exactly what Jeffries and Schumer have done. This is because they’re more loyal to themselves and their corporate donors than the people they were put in office to defend.I wrote this the other day and immediately somebody began to question the easily verifiable narrative. They said, “Democrats aren’t calling to fund ICE.” This person wouldn’t relent even when I showed her the various news stories that proved Democrats were doing exactly that.I’ll say it again. ICE is out of control. They’re murdering people. I invite Schumer and Jeffries to come on a live so I can talk to them about the reality of what’s going on. But they won’t do it because corporate democrats refuse to platform anyone who actually knows what’s happening in the world.They get all their news from the sanitized media. I’m sure they wake up in their taxpayer funded mansions and have some servant hand them a paper with all the “icky” news already redacted. Then they can sip at their tea in their slippers while listening to classical music while the rest of us are burned alive.The problem is that our representatives are not just out of touch, they’re insulated. They probably have sound proof rooms so they don’t have to listen to the screams of dying children.This is what we have to change.I’ve personally attended several peaceful demonstrations. We’ve gone down to the intersection where most of the traffic enters our town. Somebody leads a chant. “This is what democracy looks like.” She says it over and over.Every single time I’ve done that I’ve felt better. It’s allowed me to recognize there are a lot of people in the community who think the same as I do. But we could be doing a lot more.If there’s a crowd of 100 people standing around, we should use that as an opportunity to educate them. The chants are nice, but somebody needs to give the microphone to me. I can talk that whole hour. I can rip away the veil that keeps all of us blind. I can inflate the sails of this movement.But that’s the exact problem. Every time we start making progress, somebody comes along to smash us back down. The malicious forces have agents everywhere.Newsom recently came out and said he was against the billionaire tax. That’s it. He’s revealed himself. Despite all his posturing, this is all the evidence we need to recognize he’s one of the enemy. He’s tapping the brakes on our activism and that’s not acceptable.People are dying!The only thing our corporate representatives are worried about is maintaining the same status quo that allowed a monster to seize control of the levers of power. Somebody needs to go and organize a protest at Newsom’s house. This loyalty to billionaires has to end.What good is all that money going to be when all the workers are dead and all the goods they used to manufacture are no longer available?If Newsome wants to come on my podcast and talk about this, he’s more than welcome. But he’s not interested in talking to me. He’s more interested in talking to Steve Bannon.When I say things like this, people respond, “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.” Well, I’m sorry but that’s just a load of nonsense. Who is the enemy? Which enemy are you referring to? Also, some of these men are false actors. Newsom is pretending to be an enemy, but he just came out and declared he’s an ally of billionaires.Billionaires are my enemy.The friend of my enemy is also my enemy.Kinzinger is another one that people need to stop listening to. He’s another one out there stomping on the brakes of our activism. He’s telling people not to use profanities even when young woman are brutally murdered by agents of the government. He came out and called it “the right call” when our government waged an illegal war on Venezuela that left 80+ people dead.Anyone who calls the state sponsored murder of innocent people “the right call” is our enemy.I’m telling you that it’s dangerous to listen to people like Newsom and Kinzinger. They’re out there whispering deceit in a way that sounds like truth. I encounter so many people who listen to them, and then come to me and try to lecture me about how I’m wrong.Excuse me? I’ve never held political office. I’ve never had power of any kind. I’m not the problem. Do not be deceived. We aren’t getting out of this mess by allowing some other big money shadow group to anoint another puppet politician.We need to do more. We need to be louder at our various community organizers. Everything we do is going to be peaceful, but it can be more effective.What good does it do to stand on a public street and have men driving pickup trucks with MAGA stickers roll by and give us the finger?Let’s demand an audience with the representatives who are failing us. Let’s let them know that innocent women are being shot in the street. Let’s look them in the eye and tell them that when this society collapses, they too are going to lose the luxury they’ve grown accustomed to enjoying.We need to put pressure on our feckless Democrats. We have to stop letting them lie to us. The fact that Schumer and Jeffries can stand in front of a crowd and have the nerve to say they will not call to defund ICE is offensive. They should be ashamed of themselves. It’s not going to happen on its own. We have to make them feel ashamed.The wives, husbands, fathers, mothers, grandfathers, and grandmothers are not going to stand silently by and allow our children to be murdered. Our indifferent politicians have to know that the more this escalates, the worse it will be for everybody. Let’s stand outside their places of residence. I haven’t been able to sleep since November 4th, 2024. Why should they get to listen to the artificial sounds of songbirds and waterfalls while the rest of us are tormented by the sound of children dying in the street and women being gunned down in broad daylight?You all make this newsletter happen!
