Therefore, Let Us Fear

You can sit under the Word, hear the gospel, and still miss the rest of God. Hebrews 4:1–2 confronts us with a sobering command, "Therefore, let us fear," calling us to a serious vigilance lest we come close to Christ and yet fall short through unbelief. The promise of rest still stands, but it must be received by faith, not merely heard with the ears. Don't die on the doorstep, come, believe, and enter the rest that is found in Christ alone.
