Send us Fan Mail“You’re teaching people wrong. You’re gonna send them to hell.” That kind of accusation can rattle anyone, especially when it’s aimed at the simplest claim of Christianity: we are saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, by faith alone. We respond by slowing down and laying out what Romans actually teaches about justification, sanctification, and the confidence God intends for believers to have. If you’ve ever felt pressured to “add something” to the cross to make salvation stick, this conversation is a reset. We walk through Romans 4 and the heart of the gospel: Christ takes all our sin and credits us with His perfect righteousness. That’s imputed righteousness, and it’s the reason assurance is possible. From there, we draw a clean line between justification and sanctification. We don’t deny the call to holiness, but we refuse to turn growth, obedience, and good works into the hinge that keeps God from changing His mind about us. We also dig into how people misuse “if” language in Scripture, why careful Bible study matters, and why grace sounds “unbelievable” to human wisdom while self-made religion feels instantly plausible. The second half gets practical: fear of the Lord versus fear-mongering, entering God’s rest, Israel’s wilderness as a picture of unbelief, and why “losing salvation” collapses the meaning of salvation itself. We close by talking about boundaries, church discipline, and why refusing compromise is not cruelty but care. If this helped you, subscribe, share it with someone stuck in spiritual insecurity, and leave a review so more people can find gospel-centered teaching.Support the showBE PROVOKED AND BE PERSUADED!
