Jason and Chris are talking about the evolution of people’s reading lists. Looking back on their own experiences post-college, they’ve broken it down into the four categories. First, what they call their “beginner” books – the tried and true books on “how to be an adult.” Next, industry related books, for them these were books related to the real estate industry. Then, general business and entrepreneurial books on subjects like hiring and managing employees, business growth, and marketing. Finally, books on personal growth, for Jason and Chris, these are the “black belt” topics authored by people like Warren Buffett and Tony Robbins about finances, health, and other important topics to lead a well rounded life.
