Ray Kurzweil predicts paradigm shifts will become increasingly common, leading to "technological change so rapid and profound it represents a rupture in the fabric of human history." Kurzweil believes that the singularity will occur by approximately 2045. Singularity is the hypothetical future creation of superintelligent machines. Superintelligence is defined as a technologically-created cognitive capacity far beyond that possible for humans. Stephen Hawking: "Artificial Intelligence could end Human Race due to Technological Singularity." REMEMBER AND REFLECT ... In this session―Part 6―we will discuss Technological Singularity. A mathematician and fiction writer, Vernor Vinge is thought to have coined the term "the singularity" to describe the inflection point when machines outsmart humans. He views the singularity as an inevitability, even if international rules emerge controlling the development of AI. >>> QUESTIONS FOR YOU If you (or children) live until 2045, how will you prepare for Singularity? What plans are you making NOW ... ahead of time? Remember "TS" moves faster than YOU! How will you warn your friends learn about Singularity? Information technology and computer power are growing exponentially. A key End Time scripture prophesying this is found in the Tanakh, in the Book of Daniel. "But you, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." ‒ Daniel 12:4 The Hebrew word for "knowledge" here used is "da-ath" and can also mean "discernment, understanding and wisdom"―as well as "knowledge, perception and skill." BUT WHAT ABOUT THE END TIMES I believe that Artificial Intelligence (AI) via Hyper Intelligence Computers (HI) will be utilized by the False Messiah (the anti-Christ) and his False Prophet (religious leader of the New Global Governance) in the End Times. LISTEN TO THE PODCAST! I believe that it is highly probable—not just possible, but probable—that AI will be utilized in the personage of the IMAGE of the Beast in the End Times. WHAT IS COVERED IN THIS PODCAST At some point the various technological systems we have—as they keep progressing—will overtake us in intelligence … and possibly—hopefully—discipline. They will eventually initiate the creation of hyper-intelligences where "machines" surpass human intelligences and continue the non-linear trend of creating even more hyper-intelligences.
