# Big Ideas- Mark 14:53-65- The authorities decided they need to remove the threat of Jesus, they are rushing to make a reason and finish eliminating him before the festival starts. - Why? Because Jesus is threatening their entire system.- I am. I am the one who rules over you. - You can trust Jesus. He has the power to take care of all you needs. # Questions- Am I willing to give up any of my power or status to believe and follow Jesus? - What would it look like for you to have less status in order to follow Jesus? - What’s a circumstance that makes it hard for you to trust Jesus? - How does it change your relationship with Jesus to see him as the Almighty creator and sustainer of all things? - Can he be those things and also close, intimate, and absolutely unconditionally loving and embracing you?- What do you need to hear from him this week?
