These Are My People!

from Midwest Bias Hosted by Kj in Minnesota

Episode 35: Kj kicks off this episode with a brief housekeeping before bringing in the as the Midwest Guest Co-host of the week (2:01)! They recap their last month of travels (#WhereInTheWorldAreTheHoFerAndKj) and their Covid experience…at length. They also answer a ballpark food question and leave 3 cliffhangers…let us know if you want to hear the conclusion of these stories. Next, Michelle Pendleton joins them (@mpendleton on Twitter) as the token Non-Midwestern Guest of the Week from Houston, TX (31:50)! Michelle helps them introduce the newest guest format by answering 3 questions: 1) Where have you been? 2) Where are you now? and 3) Why should we visit your town? Michelle also answers a "Wheel Question" and her own ballpark food question. Plus, they talk about life during Hurricane Harvey and its immediate aftermath, Astros and Twins baseball, and the Astros cheating scandal. Later, Kj and the HOFer wrap it up by tasting two hard ciders and one sour beer in Taste Test with the Hall of Famer (1:12:23)! A good (central standard) time was had by all!
