These Hard Moments - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Wed. 1-15-25 #1458

“Send Coach John a message”In today’s world, so many people are going through tough moments.  Life has them all the time. I found something that was a good reminder for me and all of us, that when we do go through the hard times and it’s from The Winning Difference (@thewinningdiff1) where they had a clip of Kentucky Men’s Basketball Head Coach, Mark Pope where he shared this:  “"It's these hard moments that make you grow too. When you can take the hard moments and turn them into something great...that's when you are on a journey." With the right mentality, hard moments don’t break you—they make you.”  The tough moments I’m going through, I’m trying to connect with this more and more.  I also am looking to improve my response to these tough moments so that I can find areas of growth and learning, instead of just getting all emotionally worked up where I’m not figuring things out and / or seeing possibilities that are there because of the struggles. I also am connecting this to learning from others’ struggles. What’s going on with the fires out in California, really shows the human spirit of trying to help and care for others.
