Today's show opens with a reflection to a piece I wrote years ago about adversity. The piece was an advice essay to parents to encourage them to not bubble-wrap their children. We all need to learn that life is unfair and can hit you hard, so you need to develop coping mechanisms to function in the real world. This leads to me wondering if that's what has created a deeper divide in our nation. It's no longer the ideology of Democrat versus Republican, but those who live in a world of make-believe and those of us who live in Realville. The Deep State has not retreated. Thanks to the influence of Minority Leader Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY), we now have a new Majority Leader, Senator John Thune (R-SD). RINOs and the Apparatus hiding withing the bureaucracy will not go away without a fight. The Legacy/mainstream media continues to show us just how unwell they are. They have become the home for those who live in a world of make-believe. No wonder they are so eager to help confuse the world with their hoaxes and propaganda. Turn them off, today! Let's remember my thoughts about the events leading to Biden's withdrawal from the 2024 Presidential race. I suggested it was his way of punching back to endorse Kamala Harris. After seeing the grin on his face when welcoming Donald Trump to the White House, I cannot help but think back to what I suggested a few months ago. Finally, Donald Trump makes yet another solid pick for his Administration by nominating Pete Hegseth to become the Secretary of Defense. While the idiots on The View decided to not do any research at all, Scott Jennings on CNN schooled his fellow panelists on his background and accomplishments.
