They Were Alive… But Never Born
from Inspector Story
n 1974, a clerk named Benjamin Koji working at the Department of Vital Records in Honolulu, Hawaii, stumbled upon a deeply disturbing anomaly: multiple birth certificates featuring the same names and birthplaces — but different signatures. Initially dismissed as clerical errors, deeper investigation revealed that these duplicates didn't appear in any national database. These weren't archived files. They were active records… for living individuals. Benjamin's discovery hinted at a possibility no one was prepared to face: that some people walking among us might not officially exist — or perhaps, they exist more than once. The implications? Identity manipulation, covert programs, or something far stranger. Especially when Benjamin himself disappeared weeks later.
