They Were Ordered to Stop… But Refused

from God's Whispers | Daily Scripture Reflections Hosted by God’s Whispers Reflections

In Acts 5:27–33, the apostles are commanded to stop speaking about Jesus—but their response reveals a bold and dangerous faith: “We must obey God rather than men.” This reflection explores courage, conviction, and what it means to stand firm when it’s difficult. After listening, use these journal prompts for deeper prayer reflection: Where in your life do you feel pressure to stay quiet? Have you ever avoided doing the right thing because it was uncomfortable? What does “obeying God rather than people” look like in your daily life? What is one small step of courage you can take this week? #Acts5 #Faith #Courage #Jesus #Bible #Christian
