Transcript from audio:Welcome to Monday musings with Kissa, where I share what the heck happened last week what I have planned for this week and a story time not in that particular order this is the audio companion to my substack newsletter that I send out every Thursday so if you’re not already subscribed, there’s a button somewhere here where you can do so and content as of this recording is currently free Well, let’s jump into last week as usual last week was Thanksgiving week, which means it was fall break for my kids and that meant they were off of school for an entire week and even though I thought it was gonna be a slow week for us, it was jampacked to say the least to kick off fall break on Monday we went to Disneyland for Jelly’s birthday. We spent the entire day there with grandparents friends family. It was an amazing day. Jelly had the best time and so did Micah so it was a great day and then we had one work day on Tuesday where we sent in more Amazon inventory. We had meetings. I sent out follow-ups. I just did everything that I possibly could on Tuesday and then on Wednesday, we had a play date and a dentist appointment. It was a great day. We got to reunite with friends that we haven’t had a play date with in in quite a while. And it was a lot of fun. We went straight to the dentist after that. So it was a pack day. And then Thanksgiving was Thursday and Friday. We had our friendsgiving on Saturday and then we had church in the LA Auto show on Sunday and next thing you know, here we are on Monday. So this week, to tell you the truth, it was kind of hard to ease back into regular life. So my plan for the first half of the week is just to get my bearings. It’s, I don’t know. I just have this feeling that time is passing by really really quickly. We have another jump-packed week. We’re going to do more production this week because we had such a successful Black Friday, Cyber Monday weekend that we have to make more stock. We have to ship out all the orders so we have a jam packed week and then on top of that, on Thursday, we have a holiday party for our investors and we’re going to be tabling and sampling our products there to try and get in front of the eyes of more investors and then we have a birthday party on Saturday. We have church on Sunday. It’s just a lot going on now I wanted to share a story about how there was one moment in during Thanksgiving week that really warmed my heart and it was when we had a play date with our friend um with the kids’ friends that we haven’t had a playdate with in quite some time. And because of that, it’s not that they forgot each other, but they’re young enough to like, if they haven’t seen each other in a while, maybe they’re not going to really remember each other or kind of, you know, take to each other and start playing with each other right away. And when we went to the play date, I was just kind of observing how the kids were acting with their friend and almost immediately they just kind of clicked and picked up where they left off. And it was such a heartwarming thing to see because as a parent and you see your kids grow up and you see their relationships that they’re forming with their own friends. It’s awesome to see kids grow up together and I really hope that you know, Micah and Jelly really cling onto the friends that are good friends that look out for them, that they care about and will look out for their friend. It’s just something that I experienced in my own childhood and I really want that to be for my kids too. So going to that play date, it was just so great to see them kind of catch up with each other. And then also because they’re a little bit older, it was really sweet to see how different they play at an older age. They’re having conversations, they’re not just playing around each other. And in some ways, I almost feel like they were picking up where they left off, but they also were kind of filling each other in on how much they’ve grown. And I’m just so proud of all those kids for just being good friends to each other, despite how much time may pass between them. Well, that’s all for today friends. I want to thank you so much for listening and for your time.
