Welcome to Faith and Freedom, where we explore how faith empowers us to live with strength and resilience in today’s world. I'm Matt DiConti, and today’s topic is all about developing “thick skin.” As Christians, we’re called to live with grace and understanding, even when the world throws challenges our way. In this episode, we'll dive into the story of Nehemiah—a man who stood firm in his mission to rebuild Jerusalem despite insults and opposition—and explore wisdom from Proverbs on patience, resilience, and choosing not to be easily offended. Together, we'll uncover how cultivating a strong spirit helps us stay focused on our God-given purposes, remain unshaken by criticism, and bring a peaceful, steady presence to those around us. Join me as we unpack the power of thick skin through the lens of faith.

I’m Fun Now with Sazan Hendrix Dear Media I’m Fun Now with Sazan Hendrix is your weekly permission slip to laugh, heal, and rediscover the spark God placed inside you. Each episode brings real stories, honest conversations, and out-of-this-world topics designed to ignite joy in your everyday life. This is a sisterhood where faith and freedom collide, reminding you it’s never too late to rise, play, and become the woman you were always meant to be. Welcome to the fun side of life. Let’s grow, girls! Free Indeed Fringe Radio Network Free Indeed stands on a razors’ edge between conservative Christianity (which often leads to legalism and works based faith) and liberal societal theology (all truth is God’s truth, no absolute morality, etc) which has lead to the diluting and perversion of scripture and a splitting of the body of Christ, cultural battle lines being drawn, and a new false moral standard being created. We see two ends of a spectrum seeking to understand the middle. We know the middle and we firmly lay the cross of Jesus here without apology. (Gal 5:2-4)Though these views both claim (apart from each other) to work toward the same goal of relationship with Christ, they do not. Again, in between these two is where Free Indeed stands. To fill this gap and allow everyone to come closer to each other through the grace and truth that Jesus gave to all mankind. To cause all, both the liberal and the legalist, to know grace and freedom found in Christ more and thus grow closer to Him. (Gal 5:1) Let Freedom Ring - Grace UMC Reverend Jeremy Vickers God has blessed all of humanity with freedom. Some observe it as a right, others see it as something to be controlled. May we be a people that champion freedom of speech and faith. Only in the grace of our Lord and Jesus Christ are we truly set free from sin. Free others, as we have been forgiven and freed. Restoring Faith, Family and Freedom in America Nick Eanes This podcast is about restoring the core values of faith, family, and freedom in America. This will not be a debate platform about politics but be rooted in the Scriptures, our history as a nation and discussing our inalienable rights given to us by God as our founders intended, and our core family values that are sorely missing in our communities. The Church along with our local communities have always been the backbone of our country and we have seen our churches and households slowly over the last half century erode away, spiritually, morally, economically. The Word of God is our foundation
