Things to look forward to in the month of December.

Welcome back to reality! Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend…we started the show by recapping our respective Thanksgiving celebrations & long weekends. In sports, the Packers got a big win on Thanksgiving, the Bucks are rolling right now, and the Badger men's basketball team remains undefeated. Let you know what's on TV tonight and we took a look ahead at some things to look forward to in the month of December. Have you ever had a song stuck in your head? Of course you have. Thankfully, #Science has figured out a way to get it UNSTUCK, apparently. The annual report on the actual cost of the twelve things in the "12 Days of Christmas" song is out, and it ain't cheap. Go figure. Today is obviously Cyber Monday, but it's also the last day to eat those Thanksgiving leftovers, according to the USDA. Cool story about a woman in Alaska that found a unique way to help her neighbors during Thanksgiving, and a heart-warming story about a man's love for his wife. We talked about all the flag-planting that went on this weekend in college football, and an MMA fighter who suffered a very unique injury in her latest bout. Did you catch the Yacht Rock dockumentary over the weekend? Apparently, one of the guys from Steely Dan wasn't too thrilled with it! We were joined by 2nd Floor Sarah this morning to talk about what's happening in our area this week, and during today's "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a venomous snake that was slithering up a woman's leg while she was driving, a granny who stabbed her daughter & grandson on Thanksgiving, some pajamas that were coated with meth, and a guy who jumped off a rollercoaster after the lap bar released!
