One thing we take for granted the most is the gift of life. We must realise that God's breath is both the source and sustainer of life (Gen. 2: 7; Col. 2:19 TPT‬). Failure to acknowledge Him as your source is pride and sinful. How would you ascribe the relative peace you enjoy? Self-acquired or God-given (John 14: 27)? You can have security personnel and very sophisticated security gadgets, but safety is of the Lord (Prov 21:31). Except the Lord keeps you, watchmen keep watch in vain (Ps. 127: 1). Also you can work very hard but not get results if you think God's favour is not a factor to success. The Psalmist say, "‭It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you loved them" (Ps 44:3). God's favour is not received on merit else no one would get it.
