Traditionally this was done in a dusty old Solicitor’s office with a quill pen and huge amount of formality – it was like a dried out old cracker! I have a background in the Care sector, having looked after many people and their relatives right through to the end. As a qualified Coach, I prefer to take a reassuring approach which, compared to the cracker, is more like a lovely cake, with a swirl of empathy, a slice of humour and no legal babble. Yes, I’m still backed up by a team of regulated Solicitors, but I manage the process right through so may the only face you need to see.
