Thinking about Schools in 2021

from Mr. Michael's Walk Talks · host William C. Michael

In 2021, modern K-12 schools are obsolete.  Thoughts of starting new schools lead us back to the first questions of goals and objectives--but few are asking these questions.  Instead they are planning copy and re-brand obsolete schools that can't be maintained elsewhere.  In this talk, Mr. William C. Michael of the Classical Liberal Arts Academy discusses the flaws of the K-12 school model and discusses what schools need to be in the 21st century. Please note that all of Mr. Michael's walk talks are extemporaneous, informal meditations made while he is out of the office.  They are not intended to be heard as prepared, "scholarly" lectures.  They are intended to present developing ideas and begin discussions that lead to solutions.
