Thinking Of You
from The King's Mountain Hosted by The King's Mountain
A song I recorded about 8 years ago on a 4-track and sang the words onto an old fashioned reel to reel dictaphone, over-writing a medical secretary's notes from the 1950's. Had one vocal take and then the tape machine broke. You’re not happy. What should I do? If I only knew. You saw through me. My other side could not hide. Always saying sorry. Four in the morning, I’m still awake Thinking of you. Knowing that I’ve a decision to make. Thinking of you. Knowing that I’ve a decision to make. We were winning And life was so sweet It was complete. We’re not winning Like before anymore. For now we just compete. I’ve never been strong As well you should know And thinking of you Maybe it’s better for you that I go. Thinking of you Maybe it’s better for you that I go. You’re not happy. I always knew what I must do. You don’t love me. But I love you. Yes I do. Thinking of you.
