The Book of Nephi, the son of Nephi, which was the son of Helaman. The unbelievers set aside a day to destroy the believers in the signs of Jesus Christ's birth and so Nephi the son of Nephi prayed for the sake of the believers and received the voice of Jesus Christ telling him that He was coming into the world and not to fear and then the sign of the day without night came and people were astonished. A new star also appeared in the heavens. Years were numbered from this time as years since the sign was shown. By the 9th year, the Gadianton robbers had caused lots of destruction and people began to be hard hearted again but the believers of the Nephites and the Lamanites joined together to fight against the Gadianton robbers.
