Hello, and happy Monday morning to all my listeners. In my start, my day journal, which I call SMD journal, I wrote, write three articles. Write three articles. So, the SMD is pulling me towards write three articles.
Whereas, my spontaneous self or you can say my inner self or the south self, whatever you do, right now I'm not going to be focused on the non-plature. But, that self is telling me, hey Lolita, go do one podcast episode right now. What do you think? It's happening to me.
I personally think because this is the time I normally show up in front of a podcast station, a very simple station. I would call it a mirror, I know you're gonna laugh, where I can see myself and I'm hearing me recording my voice. And I'm also watching my gestures or gestures or feeling the sensation in various chakras. You can call it, you know, I would say I can feel it in my vizudhi, which is the throat, right?
I'm not an expert in any of these things. So, here's the thing, when I see something or when I hear something, I would try to learn. And YouTube shot is really helping me like crazy. I will watch one shot and tell myself Lolita watch three or four or maybe five shots.
So, that means you're putting five minutes and then walk away and then learn something from that and implement it. So, what happens? Number one, if I do it, or if I do it or when I do it, when I do it or when I complete that, at least even one learning from the five minutes, the one minute I've used effectively and I have implemented. I've done it.
Okay. Wow. What a race in self-esteem. Not even joking.
It makes me feel very fulfilled, very thankful, joyful, contented. And it tells me, hey, that's like improving your growth mindset, not living in the field. Not living in that fix at my test. Oh, I cannot do it.
Oh, blah, blah. No. Okay. Anyway, I've come to my, my cell self has brought me to the podcast station.
So, you know, I have a system. So, the system is this that I think I write, send it to the publications. It gets published in medium.com and then I read those articles. So, this particular article was published way back on November 14, 2022.
And the title is, this act helped me make healthy choices. And the subtitle is, affirming that my body is a good friend. How many of you thought this way? My body is a good friend.
My body is a good friend. Wow. I learned it from this affirmation. I promise you, I don't think I, I don't think I could internalize this sentence.
My body is a good friend. If I did not do these affirmations, I don't think I could have done it. Okay. I practice a few rituals in the morning that help me integrate and live my BAM body emotions mind model.
One such ritual is saying affirmations. I have observed that by saying affirmations, loudly in front of the mirror, I get to see myself, hear my voice, watch my body language, feel my feelings. To me, it serves as perfect coordination of how I'm physically showing up, emotionally feeling, and mentally present to what I'm affirming. I started saying affirmations several years back when I lost my job and embraced self-employment as a blessing in disguise.
Saying these affirmations have tremendously helped me move through major life transformations, from mother to empty nester, to mother-in-law, to grandmother, smoothly. In the professional arena, saying affirmations have helped me be determined with grit and gratitude when expectations are not met. Isn't it true that we go into the default mode of saying I am fat or I am dark colored or I am not beautiful? Keeping in mind the judgment we make of our body, I am picking up the page titled, Body, from the book Meditations to Heal Your Life by Lewis L. A. and let's say the following affirmation together.
Body, my body is a good friend that I take loving care of. I love my body. My body is perfect for me at this time. My body weight is also perfect.
I am exactly where I choose to be. I am beautiful and every day I become more attractive. This concept used to be very hard for me to accept, yet things are changing now, that I am treating myself as if ever someone who has deeply loved. I am learning to reward myself with healthy little treats and pleasures now and again.
Little acts of love nurture me by doing things that I like such as quiet time, a walk in nature, a hot soothing bath or anything that gives me pleasure. I enjoy caring for myself. I believe it is okay to like myself and to be my own best friend. I know my body is filled with starlight and that I sparkle and glow everywhere.

This I did it some day back in November. Now when I am reminding you or telling you to do something, probably I should put it in my Sunday journal. When I read something about waggers, I am not a doctor, this is an experiential learning. I am a human being.
